Welcome to Mrs. Johnson's Sixth Grade Classroom
Thank you for visiting 6B’s Webpage! My name is Mrs. Johnson and I’m looking forward to my first year teaching here at St. Joan of Arc School!! Previously, I taught second grade in a Catholic school in the Camden Diocese. Sixth grade will certainly be an exciting change for me and I am thrilled and blessed to be experiencing it here at SJA. I feel very fortunate for the opportunity to get to know our students, help them learn and grow, and nurture their developing relationships with our God.
Sixth grade will be a faith-filled year spent embracing God’s universe. We will spend our time on the academic challenges in Religion, Math, and Science here in 6B. The curriculum will be addressed using students’ multiple intelligences and we will utilize our Promethean Board to enhance our overall learning experience in the classroom.
Students will focus on time management skills, responsibility, collaboration among classmates, and respect for all of God’s creation. My hope is that students have a rewarding and successful year!
