CLASS ASSIGNMENTS
All students will receive their class
assignments on the first day of school. Children in grades Kindergarten and
First Grade are to wear a name tag with their name, grade and
bus letter on it. Half day kindergarten students should have their
Faculty member and older students will be
available to assist students when they arrive at school. If your child is a bus
rider, we strongly suggest that he/she ride the bus starting with the first day
of school. That allows the bus driver to get to know your child and his/her
stop. It also allows your child to become familiar with the regular routine. If
your child is a car rider, please bring your child to the designated area (Willow
Bend Road entrance). Grades 1-8 will go directly to “A” classrooms
to receive homeroom assignments. Grade K will report to Pedata Hall to receive
their classroom assignments. There will be a social gathering for kindergarten
and all new parents on Friday, September 10, in Pedata Hall immediately
following classroom assignments. Please follow the directions of the PTA to
allow for a smooth transition for the kindergarten children.

CONGRATULATIONS
Mrs. JoAnn Rocca has made a decision to retire from her teaching
ministry of many years. We will certainly miss her and the many ways she
empowered the children in her care. The good news is she promises to be back to
visit and volunteer. Presently, Mrs. Rocca is
responsible for a few family members who are in need of assistance in numerous
areas. Please pray for her during this time of transition. We wish her
God’s blessings now and in the future.
Mrs. Kelly Jones, our present 3rd
grade teacher, will be moving to second grade. Mrs. Ann Bloss,
our long-term substitute of two years will fill the third grade position.
