Dress Code
Students are required to dress in accordance with the dress code of St. Joan of Arc School. We believe that appropriate dress will promote a positive learning atmosphere. School uniforms help alleviate peer pressure and unnecessary attention to clothing and accessories. Pants/slacks are to be worn at the waist.
School Uniform
Girls
- Blue plaid tunic or solid skort K-5
- Blue plaid skort/kilt 6-8 (no shorter than right above the knee)
- White and/or blue SJA golf shirt
- Solid black, navy blue or white crew, knee socks, or tights.
Boys
- Navy blue pants; belt
- White and/or blue SJA golf shirt
- Solid black, navy blue or white crew socks.
- SJA school sweater, sweatshirt or vest
Gym Uniform
- SJA navy shorts, sweatpants
- Gold SJA T-shirt
- Navy sweatshirt
- Black or White Socks/sneakers; sneaker tied at all times
- Sneaker must have non-skid soles (no slip-on sneakers)
Shoe Policy
Sturdy SOLID black shoes or sneakers. Labels, emblems, insignias, shoelaces, and soles of the shoe must be black. Backless, slip on, crocs, boots and slippers are not permitted.
Hair
Please be certain that your child’s hair style is in keeping with the school regulation. Hair is to be neat and well groomed. Hair styles are not to be exaggerated or distracting.
Jewelry
One pair small pierced earrings (no dangling). No watches. One small religious symbol necklace may be worn. No Bracelets.
Make-up
Make-up is not part or our school uniform. Girls may wear light color nail polish.
